Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas from Leigh Tango, hopefully you are winding down and looking forward to celebrating over the festive season.

2019 was a fantastic year for Leigh Tango, once again we have loved watching our dancers grow in technique and confidence, we welcomed new members and had some fantastic milongas along the way. We have had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful people through Leigh Tango and are always immensely grateful for the support.

December workshops

We would like to say a huge thank you to Alejandro Hermida and everyone who attended our Tango workshops earlier this month.  The workshops were incredible, we enjoyed every second and learnt so much from him. We know you enjoyed the workshops and would love to hear more feedback about your experience if you did attend.

Our December Milonga was also a big success; we had a fantastic evening, take a look at some photographs below.

We look forward to welcoming you all back to classes in 2020, but before classes even begin we have a very special Milonga evening  planned for 4th January at St Michaels and all Angels Hall in Leigh on Sea. This Milonga is super special because we have Daniel Pereyra; international Tango DJ Musicalizador entertaining us all evening. It is also Leigh Tango’s 6th Birthday at the end of January, the evening will be a great opportunity to celebrate our birthday with all those who have passed through our doors – past and present – and welcome everyone who has been part of Leigh Tango to celebrate! Take a look at all the details here We hope to see you there.

We return to our regular Thursday classes on 9th January. Luis will be away for the first two weeks of next month so Tom Keenes will be teaching with Samira, Tom taught at Leigh Tango when we first opened in 2014 and has returned to cover classes over the years. Tom has a passion for both dancing and teaching Tango, it will be a treat to have him at classes.

We look forward to seeing you all again in January, be sure to practice some Tango whilst you are on break!

Merry Christmas!

Samira and Luis xx
